We Pitch Unsigned Bands, Artists, Producers, and Songwriters to Record Companies, Music Publishers and placement in Film/TV. If we don’t get you a record deal then you owe us absolutely nothing. In the event we get you a record or publishing deal you will be legally binded by our Agreement you sign with us. EMEG charges 15% of the Artist advance from the record label once they are signed including 5% of the Artist record royalties from their first album release only. However in the event that the Artist doesn’t get an advance, EMEG will get 10% of their record royalties instead of the normal 5% record royalties. Our non-exclusive agreement is only set on a 1 year term basis.

The publishing division of EMEG (May Peace Be Upon You Music) charges 20% to Songwriters & Producers for placement of their songs in Film/TV, Advertising, Video Games, Commercials, newly signed, developing and established Artists. Since we work on a non-exclusive basis this gives you freedom to submit your songs to other sources. Even with the 1 year term you are still given the option to terminate the agreement before 1 year. In the event we place your song before or after you terminate the agreement we would still receive 20% of your publishing royalties and performance royalties for 5 years even if  our contacts wants to use the song 1 year or more from the time you terminate the agreement with us. Our management division under EMEG (Egyptianartist Management) charges 20% to manage a Songwriters and Producers. We do not manage Artists or Bands. The agreement is structured for anywhere from 1 year to 4 years.

We can’t guarantee you a record or publishing deal, but what we can guarantee your music will get into the right hands of A&R’s, Music Publishers that have signing authority. Our music industry contacts reach the UK, USA and Europe. You must email us first for permission to submit your material for consideration. Artists, Producers, Songwriters and Bands are not charged any upfront fees in order for us to submit your material. If we successfully get you a deal, we strongly advise you have your Attorney look over any contracts, as we don’t provide these services. Our service is only recouped once we get you a deal.

Demo Submission Requirements:

1. Artist must have a strong image
2. Acceptable music genres are; Pop/R&B, R&B, Pop, Urban R&B/Soul, and Pop/Rock
3. Must be “label ready” and preferably self-contained (write their own songs but not necessary)
4. Material submitted must be strong as we are presenting “the best” unsigned and up and coming talent to the industry
5. Material must have great EQ levels standard if possible
6. Most importantly, the material has got to be material that you would hear on the radio

Please email us 3-4 MP3′s, pictures, electronic press kit (EPK) or discography, certificate registration of copyright for all songs or tracks with split sheets and documentation pertaining to ASCAP or BMI if your a writer or publisher to emeg@gmx.com. Without required documentation we will not listen, place or shop your music at all. If you need to copyright your songs visit www.copyright.gov. Listening takes time when you really do it, so someone will get back with you as soon as possible to let you know what we think of your material. If we like what we hear then will send you an email notification (only), to tell you if your material is accepted for submission to our Record Label contacts. Do not call us to follow up on your demo.

Radio Promotions:

We want to work with independent artists that has their own CD out. Looking for genres of R&B, Pop/R&B, Pop, Pop/Rock, Rock, Gospel, Jazz, Country/Pop, Techno and  Hip-Hop (non hardcore). Your music could possibly be played on the radio! Additionally, Potential for “international licensing deals” increases through our service to international radio & music industry contacts. Also there is an increased potential for another additional performance royalties from Syndicated Radio programs Satellite and Web Cast airplay. (Sound Exchange) your music could be discovered by more than 10 MILLION PEOPLE PER MONTH on over 20,000 radio station around the globe could be playing your song. We can track and view how many times your song has been downloaded and by which radio station users. Load a One on One promotion video to introduce yourself to DJ’s around the world. May Peace Be Upon You Music does not promise airplay. Any company that promises or guarantees airplay should be looked at very carefully. The professional Music Directors and DJ’s make the decision to download if they like what they hear. No truly professional company can guarantee that any amount of the radio stations will like all of your music.  However if your music is very commercial than you have a better chance of them playing your music.

You must be a member of either ASCAP, PRS or SOCAN and your song has to be mastered. 4 MP3‘s of your best song, 2 high-res photos and bio should be sent via email for consideration. If your song is accepted you would have to give us one hundred percent (100%) of the so called “Publisher’s Share” from the public performance royalties derived from the exploitation of said Compositions, the remaining one hundred percent (100%) to be retained by the Writer’s Share of the public performance royalties in exchange for getting you airplay. If you have your own publishing then it would be just 25% in this case. We charge no upfront fees to the artist at all. You will get 100% of all revenue from the CD sales and your not required to sign a publishing agreement, only our radio airplay submission agreement. May Peace Be Upon You Music will retain 100% of the performance royalties for 5 years per song (s) and will not own any copyrights of the song.
