Judith Hill Signs to The Cherry Party/Sony Music

After a myriad of appearances in support of 20 Feet From Stardom – including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “The Arsenio Hall Show” and the MusiCares Person of the Year concert – Judith Hill is turning her attention to her debut album, which will be released this summer by The Cherry Party/Sony Music. The Cherry Party is a newly formed record label, a joint venture with Sony Music.

20 Feet From Stardom began its journey at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and has gone on to win an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, an Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary and numerous other awards. The film, which was directed by Morgan Neville, shines the spotlight on the untold true story of singers like Hill who have backed some of the greatest musical legends of the 21st century. Judith has supported such artists as the late Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Elton John and recently sang backup for Ringo Starr at the GRAMMY┬« Awards and the Beatles’ 50th anniversary celebration special.
