James Forrest aka ‘Supasonic‘ is a 25 year old songwriter from Glasgow, UK. Currently working alongside several majors, James is an in demand Topline writer.

Being a featured finalist in VH1′s Song Of The Year lead to James gaining interest from managers & publishers, studio sessions were set up in London & Edinburgh.

This lead to signing tracks with DWB music in the UK, who have placements selling in excess of 53 million records. Other publishing deals followed with Eastside (UK) Red Rhythm (UK), GMP (Israel), Delta (Taiwan), Anthony Bovell (US).

James was then contacted by Grammy award winning producer Christian De-Walden in 2008, which lead to a cut with new Viva/Disney artist ‘Triz Reyes’ – first 2 singles have been in Talaga language released in 2009, with English singles & international release in 2010. Sessions & co-writes with De-Walden’s writers followed.

Further placements followed, with Universal France artist ‘Tyssem’, who has duetted with Timbaland, Enrique Iglesias & Marc Anthony. Tyssem will release James’s track ‘Nitro Love’ as the lead single from her new album in 2010. English & French versions have been recorded. James also has a 2010 release with European Girlband ‘Vieve’ (Silverscope records) who have had previous success in Malta, Germany & Denmark.

Currently James is working as a Topline writer for Boomin System (Universal Germany), S-Key (Universal France), Willie Bum Bum (H2), Syndicate (Syndicate Sweden) & Arron Faye.
