ALUS, 1960’s Iconic Motown-inspired Pop/Soul Singer

ALUS, a BREAKOUT artist with a gorgeous, nostalgic style reminiscent of a 1960’s iconic Motown-inspired pop/soul singer (with a powerful, yet sultry voice, red lipstick, victory rolls, and empire waistline). She’s a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, musician, and entertainer with a sound of GOLD!

Gaining notoriety and buzz due to her tremendous vocal range influenced through retro soul – known as “vintage pop” – her influences include: Billie Holiday, Judy Garland, Whitney Houston, Pat Benatar, Christina Aguilera, John Mayer, and Mariah Carey. Alus has already gained a huge Internet presence (with over 7,000 Facebook fans and close to 50,000 Twitter followers) when she made a colossal impact with the releases of her music videos “Run” and “Stilletos.”

Because of her intensifying impact on the internet, she was invited to be the featured artist at Neiman Marcus’ Fashion’s Night Out, creating a runway show based upon her vintage pop style. She’s also a strong advocate for animal rights and other philanthropic efforts.
