At first glance you wouldn’t expect Alexi von Guggenberg to be the voice you hear on his self produced tracks. Whether it’s singing a catchy melodic hook, or rapping to his hard hitting beats, Alexi has been blessed by God with a rare gift as both a producer, songwriter and an artist. Alexi grew up outside of Washington, DC in Alexandria, Virginia. Not having the most typical childhood, Alexi was home schooled up until 10th grade allowing him to spend the majority of his time exploring his creativity on both the piano and drums. Alexi began writing song after song, and with the help of his parents bought a Yamaha Motif ES8 keyboard to create tracks. He thought, at first, that he would only produce the music and that he needed to find other rappers and singers to perform over his beats, but with refinement and practice Alexi began writing, recording, and performing his original songs. He continues to push his limits musically and creatively while writing, recording, and mixing all his own music at top quality in the studio, his basement or a dorm room. Alexi is finishing his last semester at Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. He is dedicated to writing hard hitting catchy songs blending pop, rap, and r&b into his own sound. He aspires to be a songwriter and producer for major artists. He graduates Berklee in may 2011 with a degree in Electronic Production and Design. Now Alexi has teamed up with Egyptianman Entertainment Group to co-write with their producers.
